ICAD Day 11

Found a sweet holly leaf on the lawn earlier this afternoon so decided to use it as a prompt for the index card a day project.

Not entirely happy with the end result, some of the lines are too thick and not as dainty as I would have liked....but I still enjoyed the process.

    I think the holly leaf you have painted is wonderful. You have given it so many lovely tones. It is the perfect size for an index card too.

    I think it is beautifully painted and this type of thick leaf (laurel?) is not dainty, so it is just right for the strength of the leaf.
