I made it to the promenade just in time to take a picture of the sun before it disappeared beyond the horizon. I overheard a little girl out with her Dad saying "the sun has worn out its battery" - priceless!
Priceless indeed - at this time of the year my favorite past time on hot summers night is to float on my back in the pool and watch the sun set - there is nothing like it!
